A shirt for my little turkey

Jayden and I have been having some fun learning about turkeys. We made a felt turkey and have been practicing saying "Gobble, gobble, gobble". I figured he needed a shirt to show off what he's learned:

I used my Cricut to cut out the turkey from an old T-shirt. I ironed it on with Heat 'N Bond and then sewed around it.

I cut the word "Gobble" out of freezer paper with my Cricut as well. Make sure you put the shiny side down when you're cutting it. Oops. I ironed the freezer paper stencil on to the shirt and then used fabric paint to fill it in. Make sure you let it dry completely before you peel the stencil off.

We can't wait for "Sanks-divin"!

I'm linking up to the parties on my sidebar. :)
