Little Tie Onesies
I know these tie onesies have been around blogland for a while, but I love them so much! My friend asked me to make some for her little guy and I love how they turned out. I need to whip up a few more for my etsy shop, Max & Maycie (yes, a shameless, self-promoting plug!). They'll have to wait til after Valentines Day though, because my brain is full of pink ideas right now. :)
Thanks for reading! (And go like Max & Maycie on facebook too! I post most of my new products there long before they make it to the shop.)
"I love you because..." Frame
It's been so long since I've written a post, I almost forgot how to do it! Embarrassing. But with the new year, I have a new resolve to blog more. And I will, because I have a good incentive. I was contacted last week about doing a giveaway and I need to give this blog a little more attention in order to do their product and giveaway justice. (So stay tuned in the next couple weeks!!!)
Dustin and I recently realized that we really need to pay each other a little more positive attention. Life gets so crazy with work, kids, the house, mice, termites (oh, did I say that? Yeah, gross. The joys of living in an almost 100-year-old house! But we think they're almost gone. Hooray!), sometimes we forget to give each other compliments and remind each other why exactly we keep sticking around.
I've been pinning some ideas for our bedroom since it has been kind of neglected and I found the perfect thing! A Content Housewife has a great little tutorial for a "Love Message Board".
Here is mine:

This was seriously the easiest project ever! I just trimmed down a 12x12 piece of scrapbook paper to 8.5x11 and printed "I love you because..." on it and then popped it in the frame. Disgustingly easy, right? I wish I had printed the words a little bigger, but I'm in love with the paper and I don't have another piece to do it again, so I'll live with it. More room for love notes anyway. :)You just use a dry erase marker, right on the glass and it will wipe write off when you're ready for a new one. Whoever came up with that is pretty genius!
Dustin drew this the other day. Love it. Love him!
I got the frame at Walmart for $3. Someday I might spray it white because I love the details on it, but right now it's January and it just snowed about 4 inches, so no spray painting for me. I also have to get a little stand for it. I must have grabbed the only frame without a stand on the back. Whoops.
Finding little notes from Dustin on it make my day. :) Thanks for reading!
